Courion Elevator Control
The Courion Elevator Control is manufactured by Digital Power and Motion. It comprises a central intelligent sequencing unit and mutliple distributed variable frequency drives that all communicate over an industry-standard CAN bus.
MPE designed an expansion module that functions as an added CAN slave unit and includes a number of discreet line voltage interface points, as well as several extra relay outputs.
MPE also authored a firmware package that implements a real time process variable monitor that is used to troubleshoot and tune the distributed variable frequency drive system.
